I cannot think of anyone who doesn\u2019t have a connection with Punjab. And that\u2019s why, Punjab and Punjabi songs are integral to the industry, too,\u201d says the singer, who was in the Capital to attend Mela Phulkari 2017. \u201cHindi film industry has an umbilical relation with Punjab. This culture is pre-eminent. One can\u2019t get away from Punjabi culture even in pop culture,\u201d adds Rabbi.<\/p>\n<p>Though the singer now lives in Mumbai, he loves visiting the Capital, as his family and friends stay here.<img class=\" alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/hanssarvar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/rabbi-shergill.jpg\" alt=\"rabbi-shergil\" \/> He also credits Delhi for fuelling his passion. \u201cI had always been passionate about singing, even when I was in school.
